A native of rural Clare, Michigan, was brought up in a family with ten brothers and sisters. In her eyes this was a blessing. She became converted to a Christian way of life only through prayer and through asking and seeking this gift. A spring chicken she's not, so her writings come from how she's dealt with different circumstances over the years. Eight children was another one of her many blessings in life. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.S. Degree in Education and later received a M.A. in counseling. D.J. taught eleven years and counseled children K-6 for ten years. A good sense of humor and her deep Christian faith are her crutches in life.
